When stopping a recording with Snagit 2018 on Windows 7, Snagit either crashes or hangs on "Processing...."
This is a known issue that we are looking into. This problem only affects windows 7 computers. If you are experiencing similar behavior on Windows 8 or 10, please try the suggestions here.
- Close Snagit so it is not running at all. Make sure it is closed by checking the notification area (by the Windows clock).
- Download and save this zip file.
- Unpack the file by double clicking it.
- Double click the REG file inside and click OK to the prompts.
- Launch Snagit and try recording another video.
