Camtasia (Mac): After production the video does not exist

Problem

After exporting/producing (Sharing) your project as an MP4 or some other format, it does not exist in the location you saved it to. 

Solution

  • Change the location of where you are exporting/producing your video to your local hard drive

*We do not recommend saving your produced files to a cloud storage folder, network drive, external device or folders which are being monitored by backup software or synced with cloud services or another disk. This article has more information about cloud storage and TechSmith products.
