The behavior can be caused by the following.
- The installer did not correctly register the HTTP server. Reinstalling Camtasia Studio is something we can try to resolve the issue
- The user is not running as admin. Try logging in as an account with admin rights and reinstalling Camtasia.
- Another application is using the port Camtasia is trying to use. Use the Submit a Request tab above to submit a ticket to our Support team to further diagnose the issue.
