The Snagit Auto Updater may get into a state where it cannot properly update. The updater should retry the update once per day until the patch is successful, though it may be necessary to open Snagit and go to Help > Check for Update to manually apply the new version.
If the update still does not get applied, please open a support ticket. With the ticket, be sure to include the Snagit Diagnostic file mentioned below.
Open the main Snagit capture window and browse to the file menu Help > About Snagit > Support Information and click the Save to file button, and attach that to your reply.
Open the Snagit Editor and then navigate to the File tab > Help > About Snagit > Support Information and click the Save To File button, and attach that to your support ticket.
