SnagIt (Windows): Snagit Printer does nothing when used through remote desktop

Problem

When using Remote Desktop, attempting to print to the Snagit printer does not do anything. It appears to spool, however no image appears in the Editor.

Solution

At this time, the Snagit Printer is not supported in remote desktop environments.  We recommend deploying Snagit with the Snagit Printer disabled in these situations.  Please see our Enterprise Documentation for information on customizing Snagit for your userbase.
