Jing (Windows): Crash when changing fonts or gives a font warning and will not launch

This issue is usually related to shortcuts in the Windows fonts directory. Navigate to your fonts directory:

Windows XP

Start > Control Panel > Fonts

Windows Vista / 7

Start > Control Panel > Appearance and Personalization > Fonts

 Look for the the shortcut icon on any font listed. Once located, delete the shortcut:

Some third party fonts may also cause this issue. If you have added any third-party fonts to your fonts directory or if they were installed by another program, please temporarily relocate those to another directory and then try Jing again.
