Snagit (Mac): Crash on capture

Problem

If Trusteer Rapport is installed, then it is possible that it could be causing Snagit to crash when initiating a new capture.  If Trusteer Rapport is being used, please try the steps below.  If Trusteer Rapport is not being used, please submit a support ticket here. 

Solution

Trusteer Rapport -  Enable Screen Capture

  1. From the menu bar, locate the Trusteer Rapport icon



  2. Select the icon and choose Open Console



  3. Select Security Policy
  4. Under Block Screen Capturing, change this to Never
