You can host and share any file on Screencast.com. However, only recommended file formats can be viewed or played directly in the View Page. To open or view other file formats, viewers must download the file first.
Supported Video File Formats: .mp4
Supported Image File Formats: .jpg, .png, .bmp, .gif
Supported video and image file formats display a thumbnail in the library. Content thumbnails, which are also used as the first frame before a video is played, can be changed.
Embedding Content on Other Websites
Along with Screencast.com View Page support, the recommended file formats can be embedded in blogs and other webpages. To display your hosted content on a website or blog, copy the HTML embed code located in the Share dialog. Paste the embed code into the website's source code.
