Screencast: Will My Screencast Content Be Deleted?

As of November 2nd, 2018, content that has not been viewed in over a year is deleted for users on Screencast's Free Tier.  

To prevent your content from being deleted upgrade to Screencast Pro. To check whether your current account is Pro or Free follow the steps below:

View Account Type

To view your account type (Pro or Free):


  1. Log into your account.
  2. Click your profile image in the top-right corner.


  3. If you see the image below, then click My Account and continue to step 4.


  4. Your account type (Free or Pro) is listed in Account Information.


  5. If plan shows "Free Account" but you purchased a Pro subscription, see this article.
  6. If you are a Pro subscriber, you can check the Account Information area to view your renewal date.
