Snagit Crash During Editing Capture Effects Properties

Problem

When changing the Effect properties for a capture preset, Snagit crashes.

Solution

This is a known issue that is fixed in Snagit 2019.1.4 and later. Select Help > Check for Updates in Snagit to install the latest version.

1. Make sure you have a copy of your Snagit Software Key.
2. Backup your Snagit Library using the steps in this support article.
3. Uninstall Snagit through the control panel.
4. Reinstall Snagit 2019.1.1 with this download link.
