Image Capture Does Not Capture Dual Monitors Independently in Older Versions of Snagit

Problem

After capturing an image in Snagit, capture causes screen to shrink and display on upper left.

Solution

This is a known issue that is found in Snagit 2018, 2019 and 2020. This problem occurs when the monitors are detecting the dual display as one display. To resolve this issue, please follow the steps below:

1. Right-click desktop screen and click Display settings. The monitor display will indicate the screens as "1|2". 
   
 
2. Choose Show only on 2 under Multiple displays.
   
   

   Depending on the monitor that is being used to capture the display (eg. Monitor 1, Monitor 2, etc.), make sure to select the correct option.

3. Windows Menu > Find your profile > Log out / Sign out of Windows.
