When trying to initiate a capture I see one of the following errors.
Unable to start screen capture, TechSmith Capture does not have access to the microphone or the camera.
First, make sure the latest updates for your version of the macOS by following the steps here.
- Close TechSmith Capture.
- Open System Preferences > Security & Privacy > Privacy.
- Click the Padlock icon in the lower left corner and enter your password.
- Go through every category in the list (located on the left), and select TechSmith Capture from the list on the right to grant access. TechSmith Capture will need access to Screen Recording, Microphone, and Camera.
- Try a new capture.
