Unable to Initialize Speech Recognizer

Problem

When I try to transcribe my audio, Audiate tells me it was unable to initialize the speech recognizer.

Solution

This will happen if Audiate cannot connect to our transcription provider. This is most likely a network issue or entitlement problem (such as not having an active subscription).

For English transcription, Audiate uses Rev.ai

Why does Audiate use Rev.ai?

Audiate uses Rev for speech-to-text transcription, to use with Audiate's text-based editing features.
For non-english transcription, Audiate uses IBM
