Add a Quiz

Add quizzes throughout your video to engage students and assess their understanding of your content.

Add a Quiz

1. Click to select the video to add a quiz to.
2. On the Quizzing tab, click the Add a Quiz button.
3. The quiz editor opens. Enter a name for the quiz.
4. To select a time in the video to display the quiz, click the Play button to playback the video. Click the Pause button at the desired location for the quiz.
5. Click the Add New Question button.
6. Click the dropdown to select a question type.
   
7. To learn more about creating questions, answers, and feedback, continue with one of the following based on the selected question type:
   • Multiple Choice
   • True/False
   • Fill in the Blank
   • Free Response
8. To add another question, click the Add New Question button.
9. Click the Quiz Settings button to enter an email address to receive nightly updates on the quiz results.
   
10. When you are done editing the quiz, click the Save Quiz button.

Quiz Question Types

Multiple Choice Questions

1. Enter a question in the Question field.
2. Click the Add Choice button.
3. Enter a choice into the field.
4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 until all choices are added.
5. Click the checkbox to the left of the field to select the correct choice.
6. Click the Add Feedback button to provide a response to your viewers for correct and incorrect answers.

True/False Questions

1. Enter a true or false statement in the Question field.
2. Click the checkbox next to the True or False answer to select if the correct choice.
3. Click the Add Feedback button to provide a response to your viewers for correct and incorrect answers.

Fill in the Blank Questions

1. Enter a question in the Question field.
2. Click the Add Answer button.
3. Enter an answer into the field.
4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 until all answers are added.
5. Click the Add Feedback button to provide a response to your viewers for correct and incorrect answers.

Free Response Questions

Enter a question in the Question field. The viewers' response entered is not graded.

View Quiz Results

1. Click to select the video.
2. On the Quizzing tab, click the View Results button.
3. The quiz results open. Click a tab to view a summary of the results, by viewer, or by question.
4. On the Summary tab, click the Detailed CSV or Summary CSV to download a spreadsheet of the quiz results.
