Export and Save Coach's Eye Videos

Problem

Use this guide to export videos from the Coach's Eye app to a computer.

Solution

This process will allow you to backup videos from Coach's Eye on a mobile device to a computer.

Option 1: Move files to another application

Export videos from Coach's Eye to another app on your device as shown here.

Option 2: Move files with a USB cable

macOS 10.15 or later

  1. Connect your device using a USB cable.
  2. Open a Finder window.
    • If the iOS device does not show up on the sidebar select Finder > Preferences and in the Sidebar tab make sure CDs, DVDs, and iOS Devices is checked.

  3. Select the device from the Sidebar.
  4. Select Files within the device. If you do not see Files select the arrow > on the right side.

  5. Open the Coach's Eye folder and drag the Media folder to the desktop.

  6. This process will take time depending on how much data is stored in this folder. Open the Media folder to verify the .mov videos have transferred. Any gray items are still transferring.
    • If you have purchased any videos they will show up in a Premium folder.

  7. If you see 2 Coach's Eye Apps listed follow these steps for both apps.
  8. When you're done, eject your phone.
  9. Unplug the USB cable. 

Windows or macOS using iTunes

    1. Open iTunes and connect your device to your computer with a USB cable.

      If iTunes is not installed on the PC, please install this for free from here. If you are on macOS and do not have iTunes installed please follow the directions for macOS 10.15 or later.

    2. Click the device icon in the upper-left corner of the iTunes window.
    3. In iTunes, select the Coach's Eye app from the list in the File Sharing section.
    4. Select the Media folder, Save..., then select the folder you wish to save your videos.

    5. If you see 2 Coach's Eye Apps listed follow these steps for both apps.
    6. When you're done, eject your phone.
    7. Unplug the USB cable. 

Option 1: Move files with your Google Account

Upload files to your Google Account to use them on both your computer and phone.

Option 2: Move files with a USB cable

Windows

  1. Unlock your phone.
  2. With a USB cable, connect your phone to your computer.
  3. On your phone, tap the "Charging this device via USB" notification.

  4. Under "Use USB for," select File Transfer.

  5. A file transfer window will open on your computer. Use it to drag files.

  6. When you're done, eject your phone from Windows.
  7. Unplug the USB cable.

macOS

  1. Download and install Android File Transfer on your computer.
  2. Open Android File Transfer. The next time that you connect your phone, it opens automatically.
  3. Unlock your phone.
  4. With a USB cable, connect your phone to your computer.
  5. On your phone, tap the "Charging this device via USB" notification.
