New App.Screencast Share vs. Classic Screencast Share
This app.screencast share feature and functionality change was not well communicated and greatly complicates the process of simply recording and sharing video for which you don't want to engage in comments. It also segregates videos on two different platforms so organizing and maintaining common videos is now a needlessly complicated and time-consuming process.
It would seem appropriate to enable a migration tool to merge videos together if desired. It would also seem appropriate to provide a "Share" option to direct a video to the Classic platform as an option. Thanks for your consideration.

Hi James, thank you for your feedback. I'm afraid I missed it until now because it was accidentally filed under the "Video Review" product instead of Screencast, so I'm going to move it for you.
I do agree that we should have communicated better with our current users about this process and its timelines. We are still working on the migration tooling, and hope for it to be available early this year (2023). In the meantime, you can continue to use Screencast Classic if you wish, to keep everything in one place, by clicking "upload" on the Screencast Classic site and using drag/drop from Snagit's tray.
I know that is a workaround, but it's a method you may use if you prefer that over having content in two libraries until migration is ready.
