22.3.0 is not an upgrade but downgrade
In version 22.3.0, I select the camera Target capture Frame rate as 10 (the default is 30) and record a video. But the next time i open the recorder, the frame rate does not stay at 10. It reverts back to 30. So i have to select the frame rate, every time i record a video which is painful.
- Where is the option to select the Logo as the water mark in the version 22.3.0? You can remove the Legacy File Exporter but certain most often used features must be present in the new Exporter.
If the releases are made this way, Camtasia will soon become a legacy Recording software.

if you do a "produce-selection-as", or a batch production, you will still have access to the legacy production wizard

Thanks for that info. But the camera capture frame rate configuration is not getting saved and retrieved.

do you have Camtasia 2021 installed? you can use its Legacy Recorder to do your captures

Customers expect new versions to have more features. Workaround to go back to a older version may not be the desired approach. More over i have mentioned this issue through a support ticket and it has not been fixed for more than 60 days.

If you see my history i have upgraded license for camtasia for over 10 years. The recent stripping useful features is one of the reasons i have chosen not to upgrade any more.

bercolax, I agree with you. The removal of essential functionality nullifies any rationale for subscribing to maintenance updates. This latest "update" has effectively halted my current large project until I find time to downgrade to an earlier version of Camtasia. I require the functionality of the production wizard, or at least something equal to it. After using Camtasia for nearly 20 years, it's a shame that I now feel compelled to explore other options.

as stated in my post above, the old production wizard is still available in 2022, in full working order

The old production wizard is always greyed out. Specifically "produce selection as".

are you starting a "produce-selection-as"?
start with entire timeline selected, right click on it?
I use it constantly; am currently running my 12th production today using that method
could you do a short screencast showing what you're seeing, host on screencast.com?

"produce selection as" is not appearing at all on the right-click context menu, so I am going to the Export menu on the menu bar.

thanks for video; you have to make a timeline selection using the red/green playhead selectors; with a selection made, right click on a selected part of timeline

OK, that selection works. Thanks for your help.

Request #1060503 Camera Target Capture Frame Rate not Saved.
This request i am following up for more than 1 month. Jason says the team is aware of the issue but it has not been fixed in 22.3.0.
Atleast in next release can it be fixed?0 -
