Audio playback is fine through PC but can't hear on wired headset
I can record a video/audio with my headset but when I play it back the audio only comes through my computer speakers, not my headset (Jabra Evolve 2). I've tried restarting the software, resetting the headset, etc. Any other suggestions?

If you click the speaker icon the taskbar.
There is a arrow without a tail. Open the menu and select your headset for playback.

Yes, I already did that. Any other ideas? Like I said, I used the headset to create a video with audio and it recorded the audio just fine (I can see the audio bar moving when I play it back). But I'm not hearing the audio playback in the headset, only through my computer speakers.

I have to ask, Can you hear other audio through it?
As far as you know only Camtasia won't playback?

Yes, all other audio plays fine. YouTube, mp4 files, etc. It only happens in Camtasia. I just did a test with SnagIt (video with audio) and the playback worked fine. I could hear the audio, as expected. Happy to answer any additional questions or try potential solutions.

Its very odd, especially since it works with another Techsmith program.
I'm not a tech guy. I can't think of any Windows settings that haven't been eliminated at this point.
It seems likely Camtasia related to me.
I don't know what version of Camtasia you are running.
A repair install might work. Its quicker and easier than a reinstall and leaves you custom settings in tack.
You open the control panel, select Camtasia and select " Repair ".

Version 21.0.15. I'll try the repair and see what happens. Thanks for the tip.

One other thing you could try is to Use software-only mode.
If that doesn't work 2021 is still covered by support. You can open a ticket and see if they can resolve it.
