Hotspot does not work when viewing by iPhone (even while not in full screen)

In the old classic screencast you could control a video's hotspots by iphone as long as it was not in full screen mode. That was not great but workable. However with the new screencast feature there is no hotspot control at all with an iphone. A tap of the hotspot location does not activate the hotspot but will jump the video to where screen tap relates to timeline.

When playing the video in full screen mode at the time of the hotspot it does "jump out" of full screen mode, but as mentioned in previous paragraph a tap of the screen does not activate the hotspot action.
