Please Add "Nearest Neighbor" Scaling đ
The Camtasia Recorder seems to record lossless (or close enough), which is awesome.
But, if I want to take advantage of that quality and zoom in with Camtasia Studio, it uses Bilinear or something. So when zooming way in, all the detail gets destroyed and turned into mush đ€ą.Â
I'll attach an example below with images. Top one is the video zoomed in at 800% in Camtasia Studio. Second one is a frame exported at 100% then scaled via Nearest Neighbor in photoshop. So much sharper!
There's even a support article trying to help people get "crisp clear" screen recordings, but it is totally undermined by whatever scaling algorithm it's using. Yes, even with nearest neighbor zooming in on text it will appear pixelated. But it is still SHARP, so the final video appears high quality to the viewer. But right now it turns it to a mushy mess which comes across as plain "bad quality".
I will also try to compile additional threads of people requesting the same thing, but they describe it in a different way, usually referring to the problem as "blurry" text:

The cursor complaints are somewhat related in that it also scales that using the same ugly method:
