Snagit CTRL+SHIFT+X hotkey wont stop

Assisting a coworker with their Snagit, they disabled the hotkey ctrl+shift+x (Show/Hide), but when they press the shortcut it still functions and snaggit appears. It appears Snaggit is not saving the newly configured hotkey. I even attempted to change the hotkey from ctrl+shift+x to ctrl+shift+f4 and it still functions as if it was still x. 

Any sugestions? Uninstalling and reinstalling did not fix the error.
