Slow to start on one machine

I have been using Capture for over a year on my desktop and I've always noticed that it takes a long time to start up.

I recently got a new laptop and installed Capture on it and it is MUCH faster to start on the laptop.

I have searched my settings and the settings are the same on both machines.

Is there anything I can do to make Capture start more quickly on my older machine? my older machine? how can i tell if i have the latest version of capture on my older machine?

Other than just the usual of "old machines are slower", one thing worth noting is that on Windows it uses microsoft's .Net frameworks. It's possible that there are some issues on your machine with these, and making sure you have all of the latest Windows Updates could help?
