Is the computer that the png files don't appear on the mac or windows machine?

Haven't tested both scenarios. But I do know the PNG created on the Mac (sync'ed locally on both computers) does not automatically display in the Library on the Windows PC.

I believe the Windows library doesn't yet support non-snagx files, but I will pass along the desire to have that!

That never occurred to me. Because I'm 99% certain in the past we could filter by image type. I had no idea the library could not support non snagx files.

I guess that would be ok if it automatically saved the .snagx file to the library, but it does not. This changes my workflow. And explains so many past "sync issues" (or so I thought they were...)

Hm, that's odd that Snagit isn't saving snagx files to the library. That's the default on both platforms, and on mac you actually can't change it to do anything other than that. It might be worth reaching out to our support team to figure out why that's not working for you https://bit.ly/techsmith-help

Thanks for mentioning that. I re-tested it from both the Windows and Mac sides, and they both automatically saved the .snagx to the Library. And synced the files to each other via Dropbox in a few seconds as well.

I'm not sure why my test yesterday (in Windows) did not appear to work. Thanks again!
