    Hi Eric;

    Are you running Jing on a hi-DPI monitor, or do you have a standard monitor?

    I have the same issue. I'm running a Dell XPS15 laptop with a 4k screen and an LG 4k monitor. After my first capture, if I try to do another capture Jing crashes and I have to force quit and restart the application.

    I am having the same issue.  I can capture 1 picture and then the next time I either have to exit Jing and restart or Jing crashes.  I am running version 2.9.15255.  I have a total of 3 monitors (a laptop and 2 monitors) linked through a DisplayLink 4K Plug and Display docking station.  I am not sure I can give you specifics on if is hi-DPI, but here is a start.

    Same issue here as the others above.  Looks like there is no fix so I'll uninstall.

    Same issue here. I use to take a photo of a couple things to aggregate a couple issues on my last PC that was an ASUS and then take one photo of all of the previous two photos to get one photo for a ticket. Now on my new HP, when I try to take a second photo Jing shuts down. I was using the same external monitor for both computers and both were on windows 10. I will say this new computer has a 4k monitor and my last computer did not. Maybe that is causing an issue?

    I used Jing for the past 3 years. Now I can't because it crashes after copying one image. So frustrating!

    I downloaded SnagIt but looks like you have to pay after the 15 day trial. With Windows Screen Snip, can you copy the image to a URL? Ex: https://www.screencast.com/t/CromLSbg

    Indeed that is one of the differences between the now defunct Jing and SnagIt. You do have to pay for SnagIt. But the capabilities SnagIt offers beyond Jing are well worth it.

    Note that Jing is being replaced by something called "Capture". As I understand it, it's a work in progress with more updates coming down the road.

    I believe you obtain Capture by visiting ScreenCast.com, then clicking the "Launch Recorder" button once you are logged on.
