SnagIt isn't all that narcissistic.  It's a very humble little app!

And in seeing Joe's "fly by wire" comment, I was thinking, man, that has to be a really, Really, REALLY super long wire, no? ;)

Ducking for cover now. Or maybe covering my duck. Haven't decided yet!

    Happy Saturday all... Rick :)

I read this string, and still I feel that this is the part where I ask "why can't I make a SnagIt video of how-to use SnagIt video to capture splash screens, and other fastly-moving objects on my screen?"

I watched the "How-To-SnagIt" videos that come with the software, and this is how I learned to get what I need from the program. But not all the users at my company will (or have) consumed these helpful videos. I still want to share this information with my coworkers - How can I make a short "SnagIt video of how-to use SnagIt video"..?

    Hi Todd

The issue with that is the same issue you would have if you had a video camera. How do you record a video of the camera you are using and want to show others how to use? You can't if you are using the same camera. You need a separate camera to accomplish that.

So you might consider downloading and using Camtasia to create that video. Of course, it will be watermarked as it will be the evaluation copy, but I believe you will find it's really the only way to achieve it.

    Cheers... Rick :)

The Snagit video is a screen grabber and may not make the quality that you need. Try making one but if you are not getting things the way you want them, you can always send out links to the nice videos that Techsmith has already made and then make a quick video to demonstrate something that is specific to your environment
