Change resolution for video capture to match resolution of my screen
The recommended resolution of my laptop screen is 4000x3000. The maximum resolution Snagit 12.4.1 will capture is 1920x1080. When I attempt to record a video, I am only able to capture one quarter of my screen size. Am I doing something wrong or is this just how it is and I need to change the resolution to what Snagit will capture?

Yes, that's not good is it? Even at highest resolution it's still not capturing my 2K monitor. I am not sure TechSmith will change this quickly though. SnagIt video is not great. Good for occasional low res work like capturing a GIF but they have Camtasia for the more heavy duty video work 0 -
Hi sienavan;
The maximum recording resolution for Snagit 12 is 1920x1080 and there is no way to change that. It was not until Snagit 13 was released that we supported greater-than-1080p recording.

Could you please tell me what the maximum recording size is in Snagit 13? I may need an upgrade.
Thanks

Why the tool is not telling me at the beginning that it can't record the size I choose ?
It waits until the end to display a message and I don't have any record at all.
Very disapointing.
