What's the best way of locating the link for an asset found on Techsmith assets?

While you can copy the link from the site as seen in the screenshot below, I have to warn you that these URLs are subject to change.

To try to find the one you're looking for, all I can suggest is that you try out a few different potential keywords that it might be tagged with.

Seems to me that there should be some kind of history involved that could be traced or presented to the end user.

yes, it is possible that this asset is not there anymore. We don't take them down to save space or due to lack of popularity, but sourcing hundreds of thousands of assets is complex and as a result, a smaller portion of the content gets cycled out.

Are some of the assets taken down over time? I know that you keep adding more but wondering if few of them which may not have as many downloads are taken down to make space for the new videos. I tried various keyword searches to find my past downloads and could not find a few of them. I remember finding them rather easily when I first downloaded them.

And I agree with Rick, a record of history would be so useful.

Oh, and thank you both for the history suggestion.

Thanks, Paul for clarifying that. So how does the licence protection work for the assets that are no longer available on the website but have already been used in our projects?

You may continue to use the content you have already downloaded.
