    I don't understand the complaint?
You can use any printer installed on your computer to export from SnagIt.
Are you saying your printer supports A3 & A2 paper but doesn't have a printer you can installed you can access and use?

I am also seeing this issue. The problem is that regardelss of what printer is chosen, the Snagit "Page Setup" always shows it's own dialog, and it doesn't give a choice for paper. Basically it always overrides and uses default paper (I guess is A4  or Letter).

If you can work around this we are all happy to know how!

I was able to select A3 (for Microsoft Print to PDF) by clicking the Properties button (from the image above), then click the Advanced button, and then select the desired Paper Size. The choices for Paper Size depend on the selected printer.

Hi Bill, yes I was able to do that too, though it's not very obvious:

Could the snagit dialog be improved to make this easier?
For example, MS Paint does this amazing well.

    Thanks,

    Patrick

I don't know how feasible that change would be, but I'll pass along the question.

When I save a jpg (that when printed would be A3) to an A3 pdf, the image comes out
over three pages. I don't seem to have the option to print to file as A3. Is there a workaround?

Did you try going via the printer properties as per screenshot above? Of course it will be different based on the actual printer you are printing too.

    Hi Patrick
I'm not actually printing to a printer which may be why I don't have the option. I'm wanting to send the pdf via email. At the moment, I"m saving as a jpg and emailing that.

I am still concerned about this issue. I would like to send something from PDF to SnagIT printer in a size/format that matches the page setup in the PDF. I cannot use smaller printer formats because there is a problematic data loss. I want to send SnagIt Printer an A3 or Tabloid size print job. why is this so hard?
