    The example link you supplied works just fine on my own PC. Sounds to me that you need to have someone investigate on your end.

    Note that I'm a simple user same as you.

    Perhaps try a different browser? Clear your browser history perhaps?

    techsmith.com is alive and well.

    My bet is that you have a hosts file entry that is preventing communication with TechSmith.com from your computer. While the problem on this support article is not the description of what you're experiencing, I believe the solution will resolve your issue.

    Posting again because there's something about your post that concerns me. If I am correct about you having a hosts file entry, it could also mean that you have a web server running on your local machine. XAMPP is a web service development platform which is designed for hosting of web pages on a local computer; that is *your* machine. If you did not install XAMPP yourself, you might want to do an anti virus scan of your computer as it could have been placed there by someone with malicious intent.
