When you upload to Screencast all you need to upload is the video (mp4). You don't need to upload all the other files if you are using the smartplayer option.

Screencast hosts all the necessary smartplayer files and your mp4 has the coding in it to use those files on Screencast.

Can you upload your video directly using the web interface? eg; from your desktop to Screencast.

Thanks for your reply. Can you help a bi further please. When I complete a project I need to use screencast because the project includes multiple choice questions. I can do that part, but am unable to find the past projects in a library. When I log into screencast it says nothing has been uploaded.

    Is this a free account?
And are you looking for projects that are over a year old?

    Accounts with free subscriptions.
Screencast deletes content that hasn't been viewed in a year.

Or are these new projects that don't seem to exist?

    @gary.wainwright

I'm confused.  Is your question about not seeing a new project you upload to Screencast
    or older previous uploaded projects?

If it's a new project than it may just be the connection between Camtasia and Screencast.

Does uploading your project (video) directly through a browser to Screencast work?

If it's about old projects it may be for the reason Joe stated as to why you don't see them.

It sounds to me like you actually have two accounts, unintentionally. Take a close look at what email address you are logged in with in Camtasia, and then in Screencast as well.

I've had 2 accounts headaches in the past. TechSmith helped me get it straighten out but it still exists somewhere in cyber space. It can still rear its head.
If I logged into one, it changed my forum log in as well.I would respond to a question and the answer was posted from my old account.

I was fishing for more info from  gary.wainwright before going there. Because the issue was never really resolved.
By now the old accounts content is probably gone.I don't dare visit to find out.I'm letting the sleeping dog lie.

So, I'm glad you jumped in.

    Regards,Joe
