As a windows users,  I'm confused by what I just witnessed.

You had 2 versions of Camtasia open.
Then, dragged a file from one media bin of one program to the timeline of the other program.

I placed a file on my desktop to see if I could do it in windows. It's can't be done.
Do you do this all the time?

in mac you can open multiple camtasia projects  and drag files between them , i do that all the time , but with this case i will never try it again.

A 4TB hard drive now costs about $100. That's big enough to backup nearly 100 projects @40GB. Everybody backs up their work now that hard disks are so cheap.

    Hi all!

As Paul mentioned yesterday we were able to find the cause, get it fixed, and finally tested. With the testing complete we just pushed the update live and you can grab Camtasia 2020.0.4 here: https://www.techsmith.com/download/camtasia/

Feel free to reach out to us if you have any further questions or concerns, and thanks again!
