Zoom Meetings Integration
You currently have to record with Zoom, then download, then upload, then generate captions, then publish captions to provide the recording via Techsmith.Zoom not only captures on thier server at the click of a single button but auto captions and transcribes all cloud recordings. so this makes it convenient.
Techsmith/Zoom integration would grant the best of both worlds.

Hello - I am excited to share that we are in the final stages of development of an integration for Zoom with TechSmith Relay.
This integration when configured by your Relay administrator will allow cloud recordings from Zoom to be pushed directly into a user's library. From there you can add or edit captions, add quizzing and start conversations just like you can with any other video within TechSmith Relay. All the user has to do is start the cloud recording (or let it autostart if set) in their Zoom meeting.0 -
Thank you so much for the quick response. I am looking forward to this. Is there anything I can sign up for to track this? I am the Zoom admin for my organization. I would love to go live with this as soon as I can 0 -
Hello - I am pleased to announce that as of today the TechSmith Knowmia integration with Zoom is available.
In order to install it your Zoom account admin will need to enable it for your Knowmia (formerly Relay) admin. From there the Knowmia administrator can configure it for your Knowmia tenant.
You can find it in the Zoom marketplace here:

Paul,
Thank you for giving me the update! I do have a follow up question. I tried to configure the marketplace add-on and need some help.
I pre approved the app for install but non admins cant subscribe to it. The required permissions are beyond the scope of a regular user.0 -
The Zoom integration is an "account level" application and it integrates with Knowmia Enterprise (formerly Relay) at a site or tenant level. For that reason the person who configures it needs to be both a Zoom account admin and a Knowmia admin for that site (during the time of the configuration.)
Once the initial connection is established, any user within that Zoom account who has the capability of doing cloud recordings will automatically have those recordings sent to their respective Knowmia account. Recordings will show up under a folder named "Zoom Recordings" within their library.
If you still run into troubles please feel free to open a ticket at http://bit.ly/ts-contactsupport and our team will be happy to help you with this!0 -
Thank you so much for your help. Im glad that there is integration going on. Sadly for us we would need it to operate a little more independently. We allow cloud recording for all our Zoom account groups. Some do not use Techsmith. With an All or nothing approach this can generate a large amount of excess storage use.
it would be great if TechSmith users had an additional tickbox that they could themselves check to allow zoom to write to their account.
Hopefully in future updates this might become a reality. Ill keep an eye on it.0 -
Is there any plan to support zoomgov.com accounts?

Hello ashchukin - We do not currently plan to do any specific work to allow our Zoom integration to work with zoomgov.com accounts. I do not know too much about that specific offering from Zoom, but if it supports marketplace applications that connect at the Zoom account level (master or sub) our current integration that is supported in Knowmia Enterprise should already work.

Hi Paul, thank you for your reply.
Zoom for Government has all the same features within Zoom Commercial but operates in a dedicated, secure infrastructure designed to meet the requirements of FedRAMP Moderate baseline and DOD Impact Level 2.
The marketplace is https://marketplace.zoomgov.com/
However, Knowmia is not listed at https://marketplace.zoomgov.com/
Thanks,

Zoomgov does not allow screen recording or copying to the clipboard from the chat.
There is an odd issue that I suspect is related, the widget creates a black rectangle over zoomgov meetings. I'm guessing zoom recognizes the widget as yours and is blocking the frame it descends into. I would send a screenshot but that's how I discovered you can't. When you start a screenshot the zoom meeting blacks out completely.
