I'm trying to use Capture this morning and I'm getting the same problem - current can't not record any video. I've played with webcam on and off and both cases its not working. Actually I'm just trying to record the screen and don't need the webcam.

Also what happened to all the forum posts from a few a months back?

Fred - I created a support ticket for your issue.

Chris - are you also seeing "upside down" video?

    re: forum posts?

We switched to a different vendor for hosting the forums.

@Doug actually I'm now thinking the issue is different. I can't start recording - I just see a loading screen after I click the start button and then after a few seconds an error message.

Bug. We have work in progress to address this, and we're trying to make certain we are covering all the cases...

We believe it only occurs when you have multiple monitors and may depend upon the arrangement of those monitors. For those experiencing the problem; we'd like to know if anyone does not have multiple monitors?

Further, those experiencing the problem may want to experiment with their monitor arrangement...  to see if that helps.

...and make sure your recording area does not span more than one monitor.

    Hello Doug Troxell,

Thanks for the update and just to et you know I am not using a Dual Monitor Setup on this right now. I have dual monitors but this is just using my Laptop Screen and it still does this. Keep us updated and just wanted to let you know. Thanks and have a great day.

I'm having the exact same issue as Chris Moutray and still have not been able to find a solution through Techsmith support/maintenance contracts.  I spent far too long today uninstalling nahimic, updating, restarting, etc only to have the exact same issues present itself each and every time.  I paid for this product and I expect it to work as it should.  Any advice or direction to a solved thread would be fantastic.

    Hi again,

    Im so luckey :)

    While searching, I found this;

    https://support.techsmith.com/hc/en-us/articles/360042442372-Video-displays-purple-or-distorted-after-finishing-recording-with-TechSmith-Capture

I applied all the steps. When I run the recording, my screen locked. I restarted notebook and only change AllowDxgiScreenCapture  to 0. Other keys are 1 and left as is.

    Now my recordings are fine.

    regards
