    Hi Jill,

    I'm sorry you are having trouble viewing some of your uploaded videos. Some additional information would be helpful in diagnosing the problem.

    What tool are you using to upload your file? For example, are you using the 'Upload' button on your library or using TechSmith Capture from the 'Launch Capture' button? You may also be using some of our other software like Snagit or Camtasia.

    What operating system are you using (Windows or Mac)?

    What browser are you using (e.g. Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge)?

    Are you able to reliably recreate the problem? In other words, do all recent videos have this problem? If so, could you upload a video you don't mind sharing a link to and include the link here? 

    If at any point you would rather not provide this information on this public forum you are more than welcome to create a ticket with this post and our support staff will be able to assist you directly.

    Thank you for getting back to me. When researching the problem, I realized the videos did actually upload to my library. It's just that typically I can see them right away there. Instead after it was uploaded it just had a black screen with the "There seems to be a problem with this video" and to contact techsmith. But I guess it's not that big of a deal since the videos are indeed in my library.

    I assume the videos play correctly if you check up on them later? Usually videos are ready to watch almost instantly, so I can see why that would be confusing if it used to work that way.

    If you do run into videos that never become playable or they take a very long time please let us know, as that would be a sign of a more serious problem.
