Cannot install audio plugin

    Hi all;

    Have you followed the steps here? Note that it is crucial that you restart the computer; if you do not restart the Mac then there is a chance that the steps may not take.

    Yes, did follow instructions, install, is installed but not authorise, can't authorise....These screens capture the circle of what I see. And yes restarted and all that... same problem on multiple computers as well.

    I work all day with CAMTASIA !! Please it's an urgent issue.

    So I called Apple support and we create a new admin user to guarantee that is was absolutely clear before installing Camtasia. Same problem. Then I try in another MAC PRO and same problem.  I hope you figure out what's going on soon. I opened a ticket by chat and it was converted to email. My request is #792047

    Is anybody out there to answer this question ? Is the dev team working hard to solve it ?

    I advise everybody in twitter to not upgrade MAC until CAMTASIA solve this problem. I also complain about devops team that do not answer our request.  I encourage you to send a message in twitter.

    Hi team, the workaround resides on upgrading SNAGIT for BigSur

    It has an audio component that fix Camtasia.

    still not working with the Snagit trick ; audio component is installed but no way to authorize it in System preferences :(

    Snagit  2021 Versão 2021.0.2 (98010).  Remove Snagit, Reboot and Reinstall. This following screen will appears:

    It works now, after uninstall, reboot, install both Camtasia and Snagit.

    System preferences asked me when rebooting to allow audio component from Rogue Amoeba/Audio Hijack, but not from Techsmith ?!

    Yeap. System preferences asked to allow audio component from Rogue Amoeba/AudioHijack instead of Techsmith. If you do not install Snagit, Camtasia does not ask to allow any audio component.
