Improve display check feature - no unnecessary Popup with changed display message
Capture is checking the display settings before the screen is captured. If the screen config is changed between start up and the grab, it notifies the user via a pop-up about the change. When you want to grab a highlighted tag, the tag is gone after the OK-button is pressed.
This situation may easily occur when the setting "Run Capture when Windows is started" is set and an additional monitor is connected to the laptop, or a Remote desktop is used.
The check is created to identify whether resolutions or other settings are changed, which may have impact on the grab. But when all monitors have the same settings and resolution there is no impact and the notification is only annoying and interfering with the grab.
Improvement options:
1. Perform a check on changes WITH impact (e.g. resolution), display pop-up only in case of impact
2. Provide an option in the settings to overrule this check.
After an extensive chat with support the root cause is found, thanks support!

Could you post a screenshot of the "display check popup" you refer to here?

After further investigation, the development team has added an issue for this problem to the backlog. Right now, we don't believe it's affecting a large number of people. For anyone reading this thread... if this issue directly affects you, please leave a comment to let us know.

It's not a big issue, but (unnecessary) annoying and sometimes inconvenient.
At this moment I've got 3 systems having this behaviour. Looking at "Covid and working at home" I think much more people are having the issue, but not important enough to take action.
And I believe it's a relative small issue to fix.0 -
I use Capture on two different laptops, move around, RDP, and connect external displays a lot, and this message is annoying. Having to dismiss it essentially every time I use my laptop is annoying. Give me a checkbox to tell it to not notify me again.
