Replace existing video while maintaining URL for Comments and access

Hi, 

I noticed, after upload, that a voice over segment didn't say in my video.  Now that I have shared the video via link, I don't want to send a new link but need to edit the video beyond simply deleting segments.  Is it possible to edit on my computer, and replace the existing video while maintaining the access link location?
