    Sorry to hear that you are having trouble generating a QR code with Snagit. If you are still unable to generate a code try closing Snagit and reopening it. If this does not help, then a reboot of your system may be required.

    Thank you Wendy.  I had tried that... but tried again with a hard system reboot.  No dice.  :(

    I am having the same issue and I have closed and opened snagit and have rebooted my computer many times. This started happening when I installed the new version.  I have an older version on my laptop and it has now issues.   I am using the latest version of snagit just upgraded on this computer a couple of weeks ago.

    I just got through to tech support on the phone and he was able to reproduce. He is checking to see if this is a known issue. he had me close snagit and then search for the app and right click on it and run as administrator.  Once I did that the qr code generated.

    Uninstalled and reinstalled SnagIt 2021.  Works perfectly!  Thank you for your help!
