Hi kdw and thanks for the great video!

In looking at the video, if you bring the raw image that you initially saved to the desktop, into Snagit, trim the bottom then add it's own drop shadow, do you have the same issue? I wouldn't be able to speak to why a 3rd party application or service is altering an image like that on Mac, though you may want to consider reaching out to their support to determine the issue.

    Thanks!

p.s. - The Porsche Cayenne is a great beast of a machine! I myself am partial to the 1982 Porsche 944, there's just something about it that really tugs at my heartstrings!

    Hi,

I see this same issue, it looks like the bottom part is narrower so the transparency is showing through. I have logged a bug with the engineering team, but in the mean time if you change the background color in Snagit to white after you take the capture, it should mask the issue for now. I hope that helps!

Thanks Robert R. and Luke Griffioen. I will implement your suggestions.

PS: Robert, I live in Thailand, the excise tax on imported cars is ridiculous. The Cayenne I have on my screen for motivation is $200K in Thailand (same car in the US is $85K)..... I'll get there make the money 😁

    Hi,

We've addressed this issue in today's 2021.3.0 update, so you shouldn't need the workaround anymore :)
