    Hi,

Sorry you're seeing issues pasting images. What versions of Snagit and macOS are you running? Are you on an Intel Mac or an M1 Mac?

    Hi,

I could confirm this bug on my Intel iMac with macOS Big Sur 11.2.3 (20D91) and SnagIt 2020.2.3 (96061).

There is one interesting/strange part on this inside Snagit Editor:

Pressing Cmd+A and Cmd-C -> you could not paste the image into iMessage, Word etc.

Just pressing Cmd-C directly after taking the screenshot, you can paste into iMessage - but the exported format was a pdf-file (?).

I am running Big Sur version 11.2.3 on a MacBook Pro.   I can copy from the Snagit Editor but when I go to paste into a Lotus Notes HCL or presentation in powerpoint I have to export the screenshot into a pdf file and than open that copy and paste into the Notes or presentation.

    Hi Jens,

The format when you copy and paste is whatever the "Drag and Paste Format" is set to in Snagit's Advanced preferences. You can change that to png or any of the other formats available if you'd like.
