Not considering the Audio plug-in download

• macOS Big Sur 11.2.3
• MacBook Pro (Late 2013)
• Snagit version 2021.2.0 (99008)

 

The plug-in is installed but it keeps asking me to install it (see capture below).

I’ve tried many times uninstalling and reinstalling, nothing works, despite following the propositions on https://support.techsmith.com/hc/en-us/articles/360051987832-Big-Sur-and-the-Snagit-System-Audio-Capture-Component

Please provide help ASAP as I use it for my lessons.

  I have the same problem can Techsmith respond pls

  Hi CharlesP,

  Sorry about this issue, it appears to be something caused by a recent macOS update, but it only affects the AppStore version of Snagit. If you'd like, I can open a support ticket for you and they can switch you over to our direct download version while we work with our system audio vendor on a fix for this issue.
