I haven't used Snagit for a number of years. OK...many numbers of years. I currently have version 2020. I kept getting upgrades in case I had to use the program again. So...I will need to use Snagit in the future. One of the shapes I'll need are arrows and I'll need the arrows to enter from outside of the image. Now I can use shapes in MS Word to connect to the image, but I prefer your Shapes and Stamps.
It seems that in order for this to work, I have to expand the image to accommodate the arrow. When I do that, the expanded portion is white. That allows me to place an arrow onto the expanded portion and drag it onto the original part.
So I don't want the expanded portion to be white. Is it possible to make the expanded portion transparent, so that all that shows outside of the original image is the arrow? Is there such a thing as a transparent image?
If it involves using something like Photoshop, we'll stop right here. I don't have the funds or the inclination to begin using that program.
It's been a long time. My strongest memories of your software, are the instances when I needed your help, and you were beyond excellent. I have every reason to believe that hasn't changed.
Your help will be much appreciated. Thanks,
EDIT: I actually took some time and looked through the program. Imagine that :) The answer was under my nose. Thanks
