Upload Queue
Hey guys,
Upload Queue is a great feature. But a checkbox to disable it fully would be great! And also a button to delete all stored data.

Curiosity questions...
a) can you explain why you'd like to disable it?
b) re: delete-all - generally, things will accumulate in the upload queue because they failed to upload... We don't envision a large number of items accumulating in the upload queue - though its possible they accumulate if you fail to deal with them in a timely fashion. Do you see folks abusing its intent and even if they do, is that a problem?

Hi Doug.
a. Because i almost never upload. Always simply pasting things as image. So that feature is simply useless for me.
b. No, i dont see a way to abuse it. Except a lot of images accumulating in the queue, wasting disk space and having to go delete them one by one.

Doug Troxell, you don't see the upload queue items getting accumulated?! why not? I never upload my captures because I don't need to upload it, it's stored perfectly fine on my pc. I currently have about 30 images in the queue and I predict, the number to get bigger as I keep using it.

You can delete upload queue now by clicking on the gearbox, then Clear upload queue.
We've been heard 😊

I'm aware of the deletion option, I never said it was a problem, just don't call it upload queue because there are some people (like me) that don't use the upload feature, just use it as a history, like good old Jing.

Our Screencast service already has the ability to sort and organize captures. (what most people think of as "History")
If you prefer not to upload to Screencast, you are free to "Save As" - store them wherever you'd like - and delete them from the Upload Queue.0 -
But, doug, I don't want to save every capture locally, most of the time, I want to copy/paste it somewhere.
