    Hi Ed!

    Indeed! Snagit 2021.3.1 should address the issue of share destinations disappearing along with the software becoming unlicensed; you can download the update directly from this link. If you are still running into the issue subsequent patches, please let us know asap.

    Got it!  Apparently all I had to do was register again in the editor.  All is well here again on the Gulf Coast. :)

    Do we understand why this happened? I was able to use your "fix" for my personal copy, but my work copy is still saying that it's unlicensed!!! (And, yes, I do have a proper work license through my employers PC software asset management team...)

    Well, I spoke too soon.  The message is back.  It comes up after I have made a selection and appears on top of the editor.  I tried to get a copy of it, but it disappears when I bring up Snagit.

    I wonder if TechSmith personnel ever check in here.

    Hi all;

    This is currently an issue that we're investigating that was introduced with the update to Snagit 2021.3.0's automatic update feature. If you're running into this then you should be able to re-enter your software key and it should address the issue. If you've reactivated Snagit but are still getting reports of it not being activated, then it could be something different and we'd want to dig into it further via a Support Ticket. If you are having to regularly re-activate Snagit throughout the day, please let me know and I can open a support ticket for you so our Agents can dig into it.

    This is a random problem and when it started I went through the routine of re-entering my software key, I never had to actually re-enter the key.  The program merely thanked me for being a faithful customer.

    Another random problem which hasn't come up lately is one where, after using Snagit and I later tried to shut down my Windows 10 computer, I would get a message that Snagit was still running and must be shut down.  I always shut down all active running programs before shutting down the computer and Snagit does not show as an active running program.  I've complained about this to TechSmith, but to no avail.  Note: This may have been a Windows bug.  Like I said, it hasn't occurred lately.
