Images are spawning stacks of copies in Image Library

Help - I pointed the Image library to a network drive, and (I think) I copied all the files from the old location to the new. HOWEVER, now they're behaving like rabbits. Every time I log in again, I 1) get an error that SnagIt can't find my library (but it does find it if I close out & reopen), 2) like 10-20 copies of each image capture show up.

First -how do I undo the mess I've made, and 

Second -is there a halfway decent way to delete all these mad spawning duplicates?
