    Hi csutak40 and I'm sorry that you're running into this.

    There is currently a known issue that our development team is investigating where the software key is inadvertently removed with the update to  Snagit 2021.3.0. The fix is to re-enter your software key (you can access your key by logging into https://myaccount.techsmith.com/ with the account that the key was purchased with, see here).

    Once you re-enter your key you should be able to utilize Snagit 2021 once more.

    As to the crashing/freezing issue, have you spoken with our Support team about it? If not, I'd be more than happy to open a ticket for you if you'd like?
