sorry to hear you've had audio issues; I render to MP4 all the time and get excellent audio

have you considered using Camtasia's voice narration to replace/voice-over the original audio?

    what version of Camtasia?

    Hello Kayakman,

I'm using version 2019.0.10   - I've been having the same problem for 3 years. I've been rendering to 1080p. Is this the resolution you render in? Does screen resolution matter for audio? Where can I find directions for voice narration?

    Thanks... Rae

essentially all my work is to 1080p; screen resolution doesn't affect narration

Ok. I'll take a look at this as well. Thank you for providing a couple of options for me to try!

    kayakman,

You get the hero of the week award! The audio quality, while not perfect, is so, so, so much better after I used Audacity as you suggested.

    Thank you! Rae
