Snagit Region Capture Area only allows a sub-section of screen to be capturable

    I've hit this too and a restart of my computer fixed it, but I would like to know more about your system if you have the time and are willing. Could you follow these steps?

    1. In Windows, select Start and enter "dxdiag" into the search box on the taskbar. Select dxdiag from the results.
    2. In the tool, select Save All Information for an easily shared format.
    3. Send the resulting file to c.larson@techsmith.com

    We're wondering if it's only happening with certain video drivers or monitor setups.

     

    Also, do you recall what version of Snagit you were on prior to Snagit 2021?
