upgrade to 2021 turned out trial, which after uninstall turned into paid version no longer working

    I'm creating a ticket to see if we can dig into what went wrong here.

    If you open %localappdata%\TechSmith\Snagit\DataStore in Windows Explorer that should be where your captures are if it was using the default location.

    No such location, unfortunately.  So did the trial uninstaller remove that, and all its content?

    It shouldn't unless the "delete content" option was selected. I'll let the Support folks take over though in your ticket, they are better at tracking these things down.
