Hotkey problem
AnsweredI am a new Snagit user and admit this is all new to me. But when I press shift and the quesion mark or slash key, snagit opens. So I can not type a question mark in anything!
I don't know how to turn this off - I looked at hotkeys and do not see where this is set as a hotkey. Is there something else it could be - sorry, cannot end this sentence with a question mark!

Hi there!
I see that you spoke with our Technical Support team regarding this issue (thank you!) for Snagit 2021 and that it was resolved. To help others that may run into this issue, I'll repost the steps that you took to resolve the issue here:
- Fully exit Snagit by going to File - Exit Snagit in the Capture Window and File - Exit Snagit Editor in the Editor
- Open the Windows Task Manager (CTRL+SHIFT+ESC) and verify that Snagit32.exe, SnagitEditor.exe, and SnagPriv.exe are not listed in the Processes section. If they are, right-click on each and choose "End Task"
- Hold down the Windows key and tap the R key to open the Run command
- Type: %localappdata%\TechSmith\Snagit\21 and press Enter
- In the window that pops up, locate any "presets.xml" files in the folder (may be numbered as "presets4.xml") and delete them.
- Restart Snagit and see if issue persists.
Hope that helps!
-Robert
